Norway calls on Israel to reverse largest confiscation of Palestinian land since Oslo Accords


The Norwegian Foreign Ministry called on Israel to reverse the largest illegal confiscation of Palestinian land since the Oslo Accords in 1993.

“Israel’s long-standing policy of dispossession, land confiscation and illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories undermines our collective efforts to achieve a two-state solution and a peaceful resolution to the conflict,” the Norwegian Foreign Ministry said, according to what was reported on Thursday by Euronews.

She stressed that “Israeli settlements are illegal under international law and pose a major threat to peace and security in the region.”

The Israeli occupation authorities have agreed to confiscate 12.7 square kilometers of Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank, where approximately 6,000 housing units will be built for Israeli settlers.

Occupation forces arrest two boys from Issawiya


Jerusalem Ma’an – Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Issawiya in Jerusalem on Thursday evening.

Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces stormed Issawiya after spreading out in the middle of the village, and then arrested two young men.

Temperature to drop,misty weather over some regions


Temperature tend to drop to become around or slightly below its average in most areas and above average in eastern areas and Al Jazeera as the country is being affected by Indian seasonal surface pressure accompanied by southern and western air currents in the layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be normal summer between clear and partly cloudy in general, and misty in the eastern regions, al-Jazeera and al-Badia.

Temperatures in some Syrian major cities are in Damascus20/25, Quneitra18/31, Daraa20/25, Aleppo22/36, Latakia26/13.

ISLAMIC RESISTANCE ANNOUNCES MILITARY OPERATIONS TARGETING ENEMY SITES

In a statement issued on Friday, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon declared its support for the resilient Palestinian people in Gaza and affirmed its backing of their courageous resistance.

‘At 12:45 pm on Friday, July 5, 2024, fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted al-Summaqa site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kfarshouba with precision rocket fire, achieving direct hits.

A subsequent statement at 12:30 pm on the same day announced another operation targeting the Israeli enemy’s Ramtha site in the same area, also resulting in direct hits from rocket fire.

SECURITY UPDATE: ISRAELI ENEMY ARTILLERY SHELLING TARGETS OUTSKIRTS OF SOUTHERN LEBANESE TOWN OF RAMIA, ENEMY AIR RAID ON IQLIM AL-TUFFAH’S KASARAT AL-OROUSH

National News Agency correspondent reported that Israeli enemy artillery shelling targted the outskirts of the southern Lebanese town of Ramia.

At approximately 12:45 this afternoon, the Israeli enemy warplanes carried out an aerial attack targeting the highlands of Kasarat al-Oroush in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region.

Additionally, the Israeli enemy warplanes launched an air raid on Al-Rafeeh mountain in Jabal al-Rihan in the Jezzine area.

DAY 273 OF ISRAEL’S GENOCIDE: CASUALTIES IN ONGOING AIRSTRIKES ACROSS GAZA

Early this morning, a number of civilians were killed and others injured in airstrikes and artillery bombardments by Israeli occupation forces across the Gaza Strip, as the aggression entered its 273rd day.

In Gaza City, emergency and rescue teams retrieved the bodies of four individuals and several injured following an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the Bardawil family in the Daraj neighborhood. The casualties were transported to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the city.

Meantime, Israeli artillery targeted eastern parts of the Shejaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, amidst heavy gunfire that destroyed several residential buildings in the area.

Additionally, rescue teams recovered the bodies of five individuals, including three children, after Israeli forces struck their home on Gaza Street in old Jabalia town, north of the Strip. They were transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital in neighboring Beit Lahia.

Simultaneously, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams transferred the body
of one individual killed and three others injured, who were hit by Israeli drone airstrikes east of Jabalia refugee camp, to Kamal Adwan Hospital.

Furthermore, the Red Crescent retrieved the body of another individual killed east of Rafah in southern Gaza, and transported him to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis.

Israeli artillery also targeted the Nassr area northeast of Rafah, coinciding with an incursion by Israeli military tanks into the outskirts of the neighborhood east of the city.

In Khan Yunis, the Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed the killing of at least one Palestinian and other injuries in an Israeli airstrike targeting their home in Bani Suhaila town east of the city. They were taken to Nasser Medical Complex in the city.

Additionally, Israeli forces deployed illuminating flares in southeastern Khan Yunis, while an airstrike targeted an uninhabited house in Abasan town east of the city.

Moreover, the Israeli occupation forces targeted northwest of Nusseirat refugee camp in the central Ga
za Strip with artillery and gunfire, as well as northern areas of al-Zahra City in central Gaza.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 38,011 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 87,445 injuries, according to the latest updates released by the local health authorities in the region.

Saudi Scouts Excel at Third International Muslim Scout Jamboree

Houston: The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association (SABSA) continues its participation in the Third International Muslim Scout Jamboree at Strake Camp in Houston, US, organized by the National Association of Muslim Americans on Scouting, under the supervision of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).

The Jamboree’s Thursday program included a competition among participants in the basics of electrical engineering and robot design and training on using especializd software and hardware. The Saudi scouts demonstrated an impressive level of proficiency in dealing with this technology.

The activities also included competitions in scouting leadership work, erection of gates, flagpoles, fences, and bridges using wood, and the correct use of knots, ties, and loops to install these works, as well as competitions in preparing cooking ovens and correctly lighting fires.

Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Representative to OIC Meets with SESRIC Director General

Jeddah: The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani, has received the Director General of the Statistical, Economic, and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), Zehra Zmrt Selçuk, at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah.

The meeting reviewed SESRIC’s efforts as an OIC subsidiary and its important role in carrying out studies, research, and publishing statistics, and socio-economic information on the OIC Member States for their use.

The meeting also reviewed SESRIC’s efforts in conducting research on economic and social development in the Member States and transferring successful experiences to help develop proposals to initiate and strengthen cooperation among them.

The two sides also discussed ways and means to upgrade the efforts of the center and other agencies to meet the expectations placed on them and enhance their role in developing joint Islamic action. SESRIC aims to organize an
d support training programs that meet the needs expressed by the Member States, and to assist them in training their administrative and technical staff in the relevant fields.
