SO WHAT: If you purchased CAE stock during the Class Period you may be entitled to compensation without payment of any out of pocket fees or costs through a contingency fee arrangement.

WHAT TO DO NEXT: To join the CAE class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/submit-form/?case_id=27285 or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email case@rosenlegal.com for information on the class action. WHY ROSEN LAW: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Often, firms issuing notices do not have comparable experience, resources or any meaningful peer recognition. Many of these firms do not actually litigate securities class actions, but are merely middlemen that refer clients or partner with law firms that actually litigate the cases. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm has achieved the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 each year since 2013 and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors. In 2019 alone the firm secured over $438 million for investors. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs’ Bar. Many of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers.

DETAILS OF THE CASE: According to the lawsuit, throughout the Class Period, defendants made materially false and misleading statements concerning significant cost overruns in CAE’s Defense and Security (“Defense”) segment caused by several fixed-price, long-term Defense contracts entered prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. In truth, certain of CAE’s pre-COVID fixed-price Defense contracts had experienced such significant cost overruns that CAE needed to take over $720 million in charges and profit adjustments and “re-baselin[e]” its entire Defense business. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

19 thousand orphans in Gaza due to aggression

Gaza – Ma’an – UNICEF spokesman Kazem Abu Khalaf revealed on Saturday the details of the suffering of children who lost their parents in the Gaza Strip.

He explained that the issue of orphaned children is called “unaccompanied children” because of the horrors of the aggression, whether the father is in the south and the son remains with his mother in the north, or vice versa, or his parents were martyred during the war.

According to the organization’s official website, the spokesman indicated that “the number of unaccompanied children in Gaza is a purely estimated number, because we cannot accurately count the numbers.”

He added, from our experience as an organization working in war and conflict zones around the world, 1% of the total number are unaccompanied children, whose parents may be alive or orphans.

Abu Khalaf confirmed that there are 1.9 million displaced people in Gaza, and therefore, the estimated number is 19,000 unaccompanied children who may be orphans or whose parents have been separated fr
om them by war.

He noted that these numbers are estimates and are measured by experience and conflict areas, and are less than 1% of the total number of displaced persons.

It is worth noting that in cases where there is no family reunification, or the child has become an orphan, there is the extended family, whether cousins, maternal uncles, grandmothers or grandfathers, who take care of the children and provide care until things improve, and support is provided to them.

Hamas: We are committed to what we agreed to on July 2

Gaza – Ma’an – Hamas confirmed today, Saturday, its commitment to what it agreed to on July 2, based on the announcement of US President Joe Biden and the Security Council resolution, before its delegation headed to Cairo.

Hamas leader Izzat al-Rishq said, “The movement’s delegation, headed by Khalil al-Hayya, will arrive in Cairo this evening, based on an invitation from the mediating brothers in Egypt and Qatar, to listen to the results of the negotiations that took place in Cairo.”

Al-Rishq said that Hamas confirms its “commitment to what it agreed to on July 2, based on the announcement of US President Joe Biden and the Security Council resolution,” and it also confirms its “readiness to implement what was agreed upon, calling for pressure on the occupation and obligating it to implement that and stop obstructing reaching an agreement.”

On July 2, Hamas submitted its response to the mediators regarding the ceasefire proposal and the prisoner exchange deal, and confirmed its adherence to the necessity o
f reaching a permanent ceasefire and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the entire territory of the Gaza Strip.

Hamas is demanding that the mediators present a plan to implement what it accepted on July 2, based on Biden’s vision and Security Council Resolution 2735, and oblige Israel to do so, instead of entering into new negotiations.

A summit is scheduled to be held in the Egyptian capital tomorrow, Sunday, with the attendance of the head of the Egyptian intelligence service, the Qatari prime minister, the head of the American intelligence service, and the head of Mossad to discuss reaching the deal.

Gaza – Ma’an – Deir al-Balah Municipality reported that 100,000 citizens were displaced from the east of the city during the past two days, and 20 shelters went out of service.

Deir al-Balah is home to hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians, especially in the city centre and its western areas.

She pointed out earlier that Deir al-Balah, which the occupation classified from the first moments of its aggression on the Gaza Strip as a safe humanitarian area, has become home to nearly more than half of the population of the Gaza Strip, and despite that, the occupation is escalating its aggression against it.

It also called on the international community to pressure the occupation to stop the policy of forced displacement, which has become an adopted methodology by the occupation to make every spot in the Gaza Strip unsafe and uninhabitable.

Killing, torture and bombing.. Israeli soldiers document their crimes in the Gaza war

Gaza – Ma’an – Videos posted by Israeli soldiers on social media showed their attacks on Palestinians and their property in the Gaza Strip during the ground operation as part of the ongoing war since October 7.

Immediately after the videos were published, activists on social media circulated one of them showing the arrest of a person by the Israeli army, in addition to other videos documenting the destruction of a mosque.

The videos also showed horrific scenes of the bodies of Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers, left to be eaten by stray dogs in the streets of the Gaza Strip, without specifying the time and place of the attacks.

The clips revealed Israeli military vehicles bulldozing Palestinian graves in the Strip, in a scene that expresses a violation of the sanctity of the dead.

The videos also documented the bombing of citizens’ homes, while the sounds of Israeli soldiers laughing and having fun were heard.

During the war, Israel bulldozed dozens of cemeteries, completely destroyed 610 mosques a
nd partially destroyed 214, in addition to completely destroying 150,000 housing units, rendering 80,000 uninhabitable, and partially destroying 200,000 others, according to the latest figures from the government media office.

With American support, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, leaving more than 133,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and deadly famine.

In contempt of the international community, Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate halt, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
