The occupation forces notify the demolition of 12 houses and facilities in Khallet al-Nahla

Bethlehem – Ma’an – The Israeli occupation forces notified, on Tuesday, the demolition of 12 homes and an agricultural facility in the Wadi Rahhal area, southeast of Bethlehem.

Head of Wadi Rahhal village council, Hamdi Ziada, confirmed to Ma’an’s correspondent in Bethlehem that the occupation forces had notified the demolition of 12 homes and other agricultural facilities in the area, under the pretext of building without a permit.

Ziyada called on the international community and human rights organizations to intervene immediately and quickly to stop the policy of ethnic cleansing pursued by the occupation against citizens.

Dozens of martyrs in a massacre by Israeli occupation in al-Mawasi, Khan Yunis

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- The Israeli occupation forces committed on Tuesday a new massacre in Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of dozens of martyrs, wounded and missing people, after the occupation aircraft launched a violent air strike targeting the tents of the displaced in al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, south of the Strip.

Palestinian media quoted the Civil Defense as saying that more than 40 martyrs and 60 wounded were recovered after three hours of rescue operations for the victims of the massacre, most of whom were children and women, while a large number are still missing, noting that there are entire families who disappeared in the sand due to the concussion missiles.

In turn, Director General of the Media Office in Gaza said that we are facing one of the most heinous massacres since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, as the tents of the displaced people in al-Mawasi area were bombed with missiles and huge bombs that caused total destruction to the tents.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that medical teams are facing major challenges in retrieving bodies and the injured due to the massive destruction and deep holes.

The Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip by land, sea and air has continued since October 7, amid complete international silence, committing hundreds of massacres that have left 40,988 martyrs and 94,825 wounded, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

Police arrest fugitive in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM-Ma’an- The police arrested today a fugitive from justice who had five warrants issued against him in Bethlehem. The

Public Relations and Media Department of the police stated that the Beit Sahour police station, during the continuous follow-up of wanted persons, was able to arrest this afternoon a resident of the governorate who had five warrants issued against him and had been a fugitive from justice for five years.

The department confirmed that the wanted person was brought to the police directorate until the legal procedures against him are completed and he is referred to the competent authority in accordance with the rules.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs meets Egyptian counterpart

Cairo, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, during his official visit to Cairo.

The ministers held an official session of talks, during which they reviewed relations in various fields and explored the means to support and strengthen them in a manner that aligns with the aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of both countries.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), they discussed the final preparations for the launch of the Saudi-Egyptian Coordination Council, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the President of Egypt.

The two ministers further addressed intensifying efforts on regional and international issues of common interest, particularly the crisis in the Gaza Strip.

The talks were attended by Saleh Al Husseini, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt
, and Mohammed Al Yahya, Saudi Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Bethlehem – Ma’an – Israeli occupation forces arrested today, Tuesday, three citizens from the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, including a girl.

The detainees are: Sabreen Jaafar Awda (19 years old), Fathi Hussein Al-Hajjajra (22 years old), and Karam Yousef Qaraqe (23 years old), after their homes were raided, searched, and their contents tampered with.

Bahrain Agriculture Development Company welcomes new CEO

Manama, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, chaired the Bahrain Agriculture Development Company’s (Gheras) regular board meeting.

Al Mubarak emphasised Bahrain’s commitment towards enhancing food security, highlighting the forward-looking national programmes and initiatives developed towards reaching that goal.

The minister then went on to welcome Eng. Abdulaziz Salmeen on his appointment as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Eng. Salmeen brings with him a rich career in the agricultural sector spanning over 14 years.

Al Mubarak noted that the agricultural sector is rife with opportunities and national talents who are skilled in the use and deployment of modern agricultural techniques, that reinforce achieving the set goals in this regard. He added that company is currently executing its operational plans according to schedule, including the initiation of the first phase of its hydroponics farming project.

Sinwar sends a message to the Algerian President

Bethlehem Ma’an – Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, sent a congratulatory message to the Algerian President on the occasion of the people’s renewal of confidence in him as President of the country.

Hamas issued a statement in the name of Sinwar, saying that he “congratulates President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the Algerian people’s renewed confidence in him as President of Algeria.”

The statement said, “Al-Sinwar reiterates his appreciation for the Algerian role in standing by the Palestinian people and defending their rights in international forums.”

According to Hamas, Sinwar said he was sending his message in light of the “heroic war waged by the Palestinian people and their brave and steadfast resistance in the battle of Al-Aqsa, despite the genocide and barbarism of the Zionist occupation.”

According to Sinwar, the occupation is attacking our people in the West Bank, Jerusalem and inside, in a blatant violation and defiance of all international laws and conventions.

Foreign minister participates in 8th Arab ministerial committee meeting on countering Israeli policies in Jerusalem

Cairo, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the eighth meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee tasked with international efforts to counter Israeli policies and actions in Jerusalem.

The meeting was held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, ahead of the 162nd session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level. It was chaired by Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, and attended by Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League.

The committee reviewed a report by the General Secretariat on Israeli violations in Jerusalem, including the arrest of citizens, confiscation of homes, land seizures, settlement construction, and violations of religious sites, which breach international resolutions, including UN Security Council resolutions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee issued a statement condemning Israeli violations of religious sites, describing them as a flagrant breach of interna
tional law and a serious escalation. The members rejected Israeli policies aimed at subverting the Arab, Islamic, and Christian identity of Jerusalem and its holy sites, stressing that such actions violate the city’s historical and legal status.

The ministers emphasised the importance of the Jerusalem Committee and the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency, its executive arm, and affirmed their support for the committee’s efforts.

The committee agreed to intensify engagement with regional and international organisations to continue documenting Israeli violations in Jerusalem and holy sites, as well as breaches of international law and the UN Charter. They called for a strong international stance against Israel’s attempts to alter the historical and legal status of Al Aqsa Mosque and Al Haram Al Sharif.

The meeting was attended by Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ahmed Mohammed Al Tarifi, Head of the Arab and African Affairs Sector at the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs, and the delegation accompanying the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In a statement, Dr. Khaled Al-Shawa, coordinator of the national polio vaccination campaign at the Palestinian Red Crescent, confirmed that this initiative came as an urgent response to the current health challenges in the sector, and aims to protect children from the risk of contracting polio, which is a real threat to their health.

Al-Shawa stressed that vaccination is the only way to prevent this dangerous disease, and is considered a basic right for every child. He called on all parents to benefit from this campaign and immunize their children to ensure their safety.

The agreement involves the Ministry providing technical support and advice to Edamah on integrating renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions in the company’s facilities and buildings.

Humaidan stated that the framework is part of the Ministry’s efforts to implement Bahrain’s NREAP. It also reflects Edamah’s commitment to adopting renewable energy and improving energy efficiency as part of the national sustainability efforts.

He added that Edamah’s move to utilise renewable energy sources aligns with the national framework to optimise and ensure the sustainability of energy resources.

The minister thanked Edamah for its efforts in embracing renewable energy and benefiting from NREAP, particularly in solar energy systems, which have adva
nced with modern solar panel technologies.

Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of Edamah, expressed his appreciation to the minister and the ministry’s team for their efforts in advancing the targets of Bahrain’s NREAP.

He reaffirmed Edamah’s commitment to employing renewable energy sources to ensure resource sustainability, optimise energy use, and promote the green economy, in line with Bahrain’s goal of reducing emissions by 30% by 2035 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.

Bahrain’s NREAP aims to contribute 5% of renewable energy to the total energy mix by 2025, increasing to 20% by 2035. The NREAP targets a 6% improvement in energy efficiency by 2025.
