Eight martyrs in Israeli occupation aggression on Gaza

Eight Palestinians were martyred and dozens were injured on Friday in Israeli enemy bombing of several areas in the afflicted Gaza Strip.

Wafa Agency reported that 5 Palestinians were martyred as a result of artillery shelling carried out by the Israeli occupation forces, which targeted a house in al-Mawasi area of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip

Two women were also martyred and 10 others were injured in an enemy air raid that targeted a house in Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

A Palestinian was martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces continue their aggression on Gaza Strip by land, sea and air since October 7, which resulted in the martyrdom of 41,118 Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, and the injury of 95,125 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, and the ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

Saudi Foreign Minister Meets with Spanish Foreign Minister

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met today with Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting in Madrid for coordinating on the situation in the Gaza Strip and steps towards implementing the two-state solution, and to address preparations for the pertinent high-level event on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

The ministers reviewed ties between the two countries, ways to enhance them in various fields, latest developments on the regional and international arenas, notably the developments in the Gaza Strip and efforts being exerted concerning them.

Forty martyrs in Israeli ongoing bombing on Gaza Strip

40 Palestinians were martyred and dozens were injured on Friday as a result of the ongoing Israeli enemy bombing of several areas in Gaza Strip.

Palestinian media reported that the occupation forces bombed houses in the Nuseirat camp in the center of Gaza Strip, the Bir al-Na’ja area in the north, Rafah city in the south, the al-Shati camp in the west of Gaza City, and al-Zeitoun neighborhood in the southeast, resulting in the martyrdom of 40 Palestinians, including children, and the injury of dozens.

Official Source at Ministry of Interior: Nazaha Announces Final Ruling Against General Khalid bin Qarar Al-Harbi Proving Conviction of Bribery and Forgery

An official source at the Ministry of Interior announced a final ruling in reference to Royal Order No. A/60 dated 30/1/1443 AH, which stipulates the termination of the service of General Khalid bin Qarar Al-Harbi, the former Director General of Public Security, and refers him to retirement and investigates him for numerous violations which include seizing public funds for personal gain, and accuses him of committing a number of crimes, including forgery, bribery and abuse of influence,

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) has investigated him and referred him to the competent court in accordance with the Criminal Procedures Law. A final ruling was issued against him proving his conviction for the crime of bribery and forgery and punishing him for all the charges by imprisonment for ten years, and paying a fine of SAR1,000,000 to be deposited in the state treasury.

Also, the ruling stipulates that his conviction of exploiting his position of influence for personal gain, exploiting governm
ent contracts, and embezzlement of public funds are all to be punished by imprisonment for ten years, in addition to confiscating the amounts of bribes he received amounting to SAR10,084,303 and depositing them in the state treasury, obligating him to return the embezzled amounts totaling SAR2,827,000 to the state treasury, confiscating the gifts or their equivalent value and the value of the financial assistance he offered to his relatives as bribes, which is SAR175,000 and depositing them in the state treasury, and confiscating two agricultural lands obtained through the crime, and obligating him to return the amount of SAR584,000 to the state treasury.

The Ministry of Interior confirms the keenness of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to protect public money, combat corruption in all its forms and manifestations, protect society against violators and whoever exploits their positions for gaining personal interests or harming the public interest, and apply the stipulations of regulations agains
t the violators.

The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain Pedro Sanchez received on Friday, September 13, 2024, the members of the ministerial committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit under the chairmanship of Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in the presence of the Prime Minister of the State of Palestine Dr. Mohammed Mustafa, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Al-Safadi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Trkiye, Hakan Fidan, the Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hissein Brahim Taha, and Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi in Madrid, Spain.

The members of the mi
nisterial committee discussed the importance of providing continued support to activate recognition of the Palestinian state to ensure that the entitled rights of the Palestinian people are met and to promote security and peace in the region and the world in the face of extremism, the spread of violence, and the continued violations of international law.

The meeting reviewed the urgent efforts to take the necessary steps to implement the two-state solution by establishing a Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in light of the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international initiatives.

The members of the Ministerial Committee stressed the need for the Israeli occupation army to withdraw from the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing and the Philadelphi Corridor and to restore complete control to the Palestinian Authority.

The meeting also discussed the efforts made to stop Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip and the dangerous escalation in the West Ba
nk. The meeting also emphasized the importance of an immediate ceasefire and the entry of sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to all parts of the Strip.

The meeting stressed the need to stop the expansion of Israeli settlements and activate international accountability mechanisms for all violations of international law and international humanitarian law in a way that achieves just and comprehensive peace, preserves the rights of the Palestinian people, and achieves security in the region.

The meeting was attended by the foreign ministers and representatives of the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of Slovenia, and Ireland and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Mr. Josep Borrell.

AED Device at Grand Mosque of Makkah Saves Life of Indonesian Umrah Performer

In a swift and commendable response, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) successfully intervened to save the life of an Indonesian pilgrim who experienced a cardiac arrest within the sacred precincts of the Al-Masaa area. The incident underscores the vital role of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) strategically placed throughout the Grand Mosque.

The SRCA’s emergency teams reached the site within a remarkable four-minute window, finding the pilgrim, a man in his fifties, unconscious and not breathing. Acting with urgency and precision, the team performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and employed an AED to deliver a life-saving electric shock, thereby restoring the individual’s heartbeat. The pilgrim was subsequently transported to Ajyad Emergency Hospital for comprehensive medical care.

The provision of 15 devices within the Mosque underscores the commitment to public safety, ensuring rapid emergency responses and significantly enhancing survival outcomes in critical instances.
