An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck south of the Kermadec Islands, off the coast of New Zealand.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
No tsunami warnings were issued, and so far, no casualties or material damage were reported.
