58 new coronavirus cases, 105 recoveries and 5 fatalities were reported in Syria on Sunday, according to the Health Ministry.

A statement by the Ministry showed that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 49,751, of which 31,166 have recovered, while 2,846 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
