A child was martyred in explosion of a cluster bomb left behind by Daesh terrorists in the village of Abu al-Fashafish, affiliated to al-Sa’an sub-district, in Salamiya countryside.

SANA reporter in Hama said that a bomb left behind by Daesh terrorists exploded in the village of Abu al-Fashafish in al-Sa’an sub-district, in the north eastern countryside of Salamiya, claiming the life of a 10-year old girl.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Dr. Osama Milhem, director of Salamiya Hospital, said that a girl was admitted to the hospital and later succumbed to her injuries.

Before their defeat from the areas they had been deploying in, the terrorists of Daesh and other terrorist organizations, planted and hid mines and explosive devices in villages and towns and in agricultural lands to inflict the greatest possible harm on the citizens. Last month, a child was martyred due to the explosion of a landmine left behind by terrorist groups in the al-Fanat area in Salamiya northern countryside.
