Lattakia, SANA- A Russian aid convoy, loaded with 1300 kg of medicines and medical supplies to Health Directorate, arrived in Lattakia on Saturday.

Deputy Chairman of the Medical mission in Russian military base in Hmeimim Doctor André Nikolajevic told SANA reporter that the convoy includes 40 various kinds of medicines, antibiotics, cleanser, surgical clothing and blankets. He pointed out that there is a plan to distribute other batches of aid supply assistance to a number of medical establishments and centers in Lattakia.

For his part, Health Directorate Training and Rehabilitation Officer Doctor Ammar Issa thanked the Russian side for continued support since the first moment of the occurrence of the earthquake.
