A seven-year-old girl, Tabarak Faraj al Awad, from al Qouriya city east of Deir Ez-Zour governorate was shot on June 14, 2022 by unidentified gunmen while she was near the bank of the Euphrates River in al Tayana village east of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, which is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces and died on June 15, 2022 due to her wounds.

SNHR was unable to identify the party responsible for her death as of this writing, and the controlling forces must assume their responsibility and identify the responsible party.
