There are no enemies within the country as such rather than political rivalries of some sort, Minister of Health, Wael Abou-Faour, stated during a new Marj – Ouyoun hospital’s cornerstone – laying ceremony today.

Acting at the behest of House Speaker Nabih Berri, the Minister exclaimed before AMAL Minister Ali Khalil and a couple of deputies from the same Movement as to how lessons of true belonging could be learnt in this part of Lebanon where clasping hands and rifles know precisely where to point! “This blood sacrificing district must be accorded all attention up till total liberation is achieved, with Palestine becoming closer to southerners’ hearts and minds” as he said.

Minister Abou-Faour concluded that in view of the influx of Syrian and Palestinian refugees, this hospital, as well as others, has to be enlarged in order to cater to increasing people’s needs.
