At least 20 people have been killed when two airstrikes targeted a public market in Harem city, in Syria’s north-western Idlib province, the rescue team White Helmets and a monitoring group said.

“Two airstrikes targeted the market. Our team has pulled out so far 20 bodies, but there are more under the rubble,” Mustafa al-Haj-Youssef from the White Helmets in Idlib told dpa.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said planes, believed to be Russian, hit Harem city, which is close to the Syrian-Turkish Border, killing and wounding tens of people.
