Al-Najma eliminated Al-Ahed, the leader in the Lebanese Football League, from the Lebanon Cup competition for the 2021-2022 season, by beating it 4-2 on penalties, after they tied 1-1 in the original time in the second of the quarter-final matches that took place between them this afternoon in Fouad Shehab Sports Complex in Jounieh under the floodlights.

Full-back Maher Sabra scored the progression injury to Al-Najma with a header from a free kick by Khaled Tekkaji from outside the area.

And just Mohamed Nasser Al-Ahed in the second half.

Al-Hikma Beirut had previously qualified for the semi-finals by beating Shabab Al-Borg 2-1.
