Lebanese Army Command’s Guidance Directorate on Tuesday issued a statement saying that an army patrol managed to arrest today in Abi Samra in Tripoli Syrian Mohammad Ahmad Amer as being suspected of communicating with Daesh and for his illegal residence in Lebanon.

The army also arrested eight Syrians in Akkar for their illegal residence in Lebanon.

All arrestees were referred to the competent judicial authority for investigations.
