Automobile Federation Seeks to Make Kingdom Leading Motorsports Destination, Al-Muhanna Says


Tabuk, Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation acting chief executive Abdullah Al-Muhanna stressed the federation’s endeavor to make the Kingdom a leading global destination in motorsports, while ensuring to inspire current and future generations to participate in motorsports. He highlighted the support and empowerment provided by the wise government to the sports sector in the Kingdom in general and rally sports in particular.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, he noted that the second round of the Tabuk Toyota Rally, which kicked off yesterday, witnessed the participation of over 90 male and female racers representing 13 countries via 35 cars, 18 motorcycles, and eight quad bikes. He referred to the diversity of Tabuk region and its distinctive terrain, which include plains, mountains, and sand dunes, encouraging competition among the racers.
