The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the concerted efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman to invite a delegation from Sana’a to Riyadh to hold discussions in an effort to reach a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire in Yemen, expand the truce and achieve a sustainable political solution acceptable to all Yemeni parties.

Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the support of Bahrain for the initiative announced by Saudi Arabia in March 2021 to end the crisis in Yemen, and lauded the efforts aimed at meeting the Yemeni people’s aspiration to attain security, stability and development.
