Bassil and Egyptian Ambassador Deliberate on Lebanon’s Ceasefire and Presidential Election Developments.


Beirut: Head of the Free Patriotic Movement, Gebran Bassil, engaged in discussions with Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa, focusing on Lebanon’s internal dynamics in the wake of the ceasefire and the evolving presidential election process.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting, which took place on Tuesday, was also attended by MP Salim Aoun and Tarek Sadek, head of the movement’s external relations. This gathering underscores the ongoing diplomatic engagements and political dialogues as Lebanon navigates through its current political landscape.

In a separate meeting, Bassil met with MP Adib Abdel Massih to deliberate on recent Lebanese issues. MP Nada Boustani was also present, highlighting the Free Patriotic Movement’s active involvement in addressing national concerns and fostering political discourse during these critical times.
