Manama, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Saqib Rauf, the newly appointed Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain.

The meeting discussed means to enhance existing Bahraini-Pakistani relations and cooperation, and their development in various domains.

The Commander-in-Chief commended the ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.

He wished the ambassador success in performing his new duties.
