central celebration on the 5th anniversary of Aleppo’s victory over terrorism started on Saturday at al-Assad Sports Hall in the presence of official and popular figures.

The celebration began with a military parade of units of the Syrian Arab Army, then a documentary was screened on the resilience of the Aleppo people in the face of the siege and their victory over terrorism.

Director of the Affairs of the Wounded and Missing, Major General Bassam Kamel Berri , said that Aleppo has made history, thanks to the steadfastness of the people and the Syrian Arab Army personnel.

For his part, Aleppo Governor Hussein Diab, indicated that five years ago, Aleppo achieved its victory against terrorists who caused destruction and sabotage there.

He pointed out that this great victory would not have been achieved without the resilience of the Aleppo people and their loyalty to their homeland and the great sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army.
