Khalil Mousa al-Naklawi, a man from al-Shannan village in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was shot dead on December 31, 2022, by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) personnel while he was trying to flee his home during a raid on it by the SDF.

Through this act of killing, the SDF, has violated international human rights law. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
