As many as 27 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement released Sunday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total trade volume of exported goods from the port reached 26,075 tons.

Meanwhile, the total trade volume of imported goods into the port recorded 47,575 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 71,113 tons.
