The Interior Ministry and Social Development Ministry have launched an e-connectivity project to support families of inmates registered in the social assistance database and meet the criteria.

The launching ceremony was held at the Public Security Officers Club in the presence of Mashael bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation at the Interior Minister, Enas Mohamed Al Majed, Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development of the Social Development Ministry, and Brigadier Abdulsalam Al Oraifi, Director-General of Reformation and Rehabilitation.

The Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation said that the project that connects both ministries is a humanitarian and social project to facilitate the registration procedures and provide social assistance to inmates’ families to ensure them a decent living.

She affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to implement more programmes in cooperation with different concerned authorities.
