Eastern Christian communities in Syria celebrate Easter

Christian denominations in Syria that follow the Julian calendar on Sunday celebrated Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Prayers and masses were performed in churches across Syrian governorates.

Masses and prayers were held at Churches and Cathedrals of Damascus,Aleppo, Homs, Hama, Hasaka, Sweida, Tartous, Daraa and Lattakia.

The sermons talked about the sublime meaning of the blessed Easter.
