The Ministry of Culture, represented by the General Egyptian Book Organization (GEBO), is participating in the 73rd edition the world-famous Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany, held after a virtual break due to COVID-19 last year.

German minister of state and culture commissioner Monika Grütters opened the event on Tuesday, in the presence of Head of the General Egyptian Book Organization Haitham al-Hajj Ali and his deputy.

The Egyptian pavilion showcases a good collection of the organization’s recent publications including the works of Egyptian poets Salah Abdel Sabour, Abdel Rahman Al Abnoudi, and Sayed Higab, and the works of 20th-century influential Egyptian writer and intellectual Taha Hussein, GEBO said in a statement on Saturday 23/10/2021.
