In the first airstrike since the start of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon, an Israeli enemy warplane targeted a residential apartment in the town of Ayto, located in the Zgharta district.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Operations Center issued a statement confirming that the strike resulted in “an initial toll of nine fatalities and one injured individual.”
The statement added that rescue operations and efforts to clear the rubble are still underway.
