EU officials visit Lebanon to discuss partnership priorities
In a press release by the European Union Media Mission in Lebanon, it said: “Christian Berger, Director for the Middle East and North Arica at the European External Action Service, and Michael Koehler, Director for Neighbourhood South at the European Commission, are visiting Lebanon on 10 March.”
Release added: “The EU Directors will hold talks with Lebanese officials on the basis of the revised European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). They will discuss new partnership priorities to be jointly agreed by the European Union and the Lebanese Government. The priorities will direct EU-Lebanon relations by strengthening cooperation on security, political and economic matters.”
“In addition, discussions will focus on the follow-up of the London Conference on “Supporting Syria and the Region,” release concluded.
