Dubai 2020 celebrates the Syrian National Day in the Syrian Pavilion on Sunday, by holding a variety of cultural and artistic activities, in cooperation with the Syrian Embassy and the Syrian Trust for Development.

The Syrian Ambassador to the UAE and General Commissioner of the Syria Pavilion, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the National Day celebration starts with a meeting between the Syrian and Emirati official delegations participating in this activity, after that the Syrian national flag is raised and the national anthem of the two countries is played, then exchanging words for the heads of delegations.

Ambassador Abbas said that experts and representatives of the Syrian and Emirati chambers of commerce and industry were invited to attend a meeting to present the economic opportunities offered by Syria to investors.

He added that the celebration of the National Day of Syria includes cultural and artistic activities that express the richness of the Syrian heritage and culture.

Abbas noted that the Syrian National Day will conclude with a ceremony to salute the spirit of the great artist Sabah Fakhri.
