Water and Energy Minister, Dr. Walid Fayyad, on Thursday welcomed in his office Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Dr. Yasser Alawi, who came on an acquaintance visit to congratulate the Minister on his new post.

Discussions reportedly touched on the mechanism of importing Egyptian gas to Lebanon via Jordan and Syria, following the meeting that was held in this framework last week in Amman among the concerned ministers of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.
