The international intention is against the return of displaced people to Syria,” Deputy Speaker of the House, Elie Ferzli, said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station – 93.3, calling for “confronting such an intention with a unified Lebanese will rejecting the position of the international community.”

“The Lebanese action in this regard must continue without a ceiling,” he said.

Tackling the government formation issue, he stressed that “there is no delay in the formation of the government as that often took time.”

He denied “the existence of political differences that could make the process of formation lengthy,” ruling out “internal factors’ effect on the formation process.”

“The main effective factor would be external as it can give the internal factor a greater dimension, and thus be responsible for the delay if it happened,” Ferzli said.
