Caretaker Minister of Finance, Youssef El Khalil, on Monday welcomed the Ambassador of Armenia to Lebanon, Vahagn Atabekian, who presented him with an invitation to attend the meetings of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss common issues.

Minister El Khalil also met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Housing Bank, Antoine Habib, with whom he discussed the bank’s future projects and the plan to reactivate the bank to provide loans for purchasing residential apartments and for renovation.

The meeting also discussed the topic of electronic linkage between the bank and the Directorate of Real Estate Affairs to facilitate obtaining property ownership certificates.
