Damascus, SANA-Five persons died and seven others were injured in a fire erupted on Thursday in a factory for industrializing paints and plastics in Aleppo Industrial City.

Head of Aleppo Fire Brigade, Mohsen Kinani, said in a statement to SANA that the fire claimed the lives of a person after taking him to the hospital in addition to four others who remained inside the factory and the operations are underway to retrieve their bodied from the remnants of fire, adding that there were also seven persons with burn injuries between moderate and severe.

Kinani went on to say that the fire was completely extinguished and the operations of cooling, isolation and removing the remnants are underway.
