Riyadh: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi met today with Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretary-General Kao Kim Hourn, on the sidelines of the 2024 World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Special Meeting in Riyadh.

The two officials reviewed the GCC-ASEAN relations and discussed ways to enhance cooperation to achieve both sides’ common interests.

They also addressed the joint action plan for 2023-2027 between the two sides, which was adopted during the GCC-ASEAN Summit in 2023.
