Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi has stressed the significance of bolstering economic and political ties with Switzerland, in a way that contributes to serving shared interests.

Albudaiwi made the remarks during his meeting with Ambassador of Switzerland to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Yasmine Chatila today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh, where he also congratulated Chatila on her appointment as ambassador of Switzerland to the Kingdom.

The two officials reviewed the GCC-Swiss relations and ways to develop them to serve joint interests
