Lebanese Forces Party Leader, Samir Geagea, said on Sunday his party continued to press for the settlement of the issue of missing persons and prisoners in Syria by asking Arab and international bodies to determine their fate.

Speaking at a dinner for LF partisans in Zahle, Geagea noted that his party was against imposing new taxes on citizens, but “supports taking essential steps regarding the annual state budget, such as banking cooperation, combating tax evasion and illegal border crossings before reducing the salaries of citizens.”

Commenting on the electricity plan, Geagea said that the important thing in this case was “the implementation of the plan, which was adopted after introducing necessary amendments to it.”
