Graduation ceremony for 15th Joint Command and Staff session held

A graduation ceremony of the 15th Joint Command and Staff session was held today under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. HM the King has deputized Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, to attend the celebration.

The BDF Commander-in-Chief deputized the Minister of Defence, Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al-Noaimi to attend the graduation ceremony, which was held at the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College.

The Minister of Defence was welcomed on arrival at the venue of the celebration by Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and Commander of the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College Rear Admiral Abdullah Saeed Al-Mansouri.

The Minister of Defence affirmed in his speech the remarkable role of the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College in grooming the military competencies. He paid tribute to HM the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for his care and support, praising the valuable directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister. He also commended continuous support of the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.

The Minister of Defence thanked the Commander of the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College and the educational staff for their unwavering keenness to perform their duties with utter resolve and competence. He took pride in the achievement brought about thanks to dedication and tireless work, wishing all further success.

The Commander of the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College extended thanks and appreciation to HM the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister. He also expressed gratitude to the BDF Commander-in-Chief.

Speeches were also given on behalf of the graduates and participants from brotherly countries. Then, a documentary was shown on the session and its components.

At the end of the celebration, the Minister of Defence presented the Master’s Degree in Military Science to the graduates from the session which included participating officers from the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Egypt and Yemen. Officers from the Interior Ministry and the National Guard also participated.

The celebration was attended by National Guard Director, Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa as well as Military Attaches from the countries of the participating officers and senior officers.
