Health Minister praises royal care during Ashura season

Health Minister Dr. Jaleela bint Al ASayyed Jawad Hasan hailed the royal care accorded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the Ashura season.

She commended the support of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to ensure the success of the season and provide all requirements,

In a statement today, the minister underlined the commitment of the health sector to delivering all requirements towards protecting people’s safety .

Dr. Hasan made the statement as opened today the Imam Al Hussein Medical Clinic in the Capital Governorate, marking the Ashura season for the year 1445 Hijri.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Primary Healthcare Centres Chief Executive Officer Dr. Lulwa Showeitar, Jaffari Endowments Chairman Youssef bin Saleh Al Saleh and other officials.

The minister took stock of the medical equipment and health preparations at the clinic, and praised ongoing efforts to provide the best services to participants in the Ashura rituals.

Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Primary Healthcare Centres Chief Executive Officer Dr. Lulwa Showeitar, praised the efforts made by officials in charge of the clinic to provide required services and deal with urgent cases in different locations in Manama.

He highlighted community partnership between Government bodies and civil society institutions to protect public health and preserve people’s safety.

Showeitar stressed the readiness of the medical teams in charge of the clinic to receive visitors during the Ashura season, stressing coordination with the Emergency and Accidents Section at the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC).
