The Ministry of Health has reported that during this year’s Hajj season 1444, approximately 16,223 individuals are benefiting from health education services at the Haramain High-Speed Railway (HHR) station in Makkah on a daily basis. A team of more than 50 healthcare practitioners, including volunteers and educators, are involved in promoting health awareness. In addition, the Ministry has described Makkah’s HHR station as a crucial medical center where pilgrims are educated on the fundamental health practices required to ensure a healthy and hassle-free pilgrimage.

The Ministry has also stated that a total of 6,000 awareness publications, targeting various health issues like food safety, heat stress, hand hygiene, sticking to medication for people with chronic ailments, remaining hydrated, getting enough rest whilst at the holy sites, and avoiding crowded areas wherever feasible, have been distributed among 39 HHR trips.
