Deputy Imad Hout on Thursday called on the Lebanese to “stop hostile statements against the Arab States as Lebanon is an Arab state and can’t be in a state of aggression with any Arab State”.

The Russian withdrawal from Syria would weaken again the Syrian regime president.

“The withdrawal will also increase the field burden on Hezbollah to cover the void after the withdrawal,” the MP told “Sharq” radio.

He hoped that the withdrawal would be an introduction to the political solution or to legislate a political one.

The lawmaker hoped that Hezbollah would return to Lebanon, ruling out any imminent return due to Hezbollah leaderships’ statements.

On the other hand, he said that the ongoing dialogues would not be fertile as the aim of these dialogues was to ease tension and prevent sectarian strife in the country.
