HUMANITARIAN NEEDS OVERVIEW

Syria Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO) 2023 was published online on 23 December here. The total number of people in need (PiN) has increased from 14.6 million in 2022 to 15.3 million in 2023. The analysis presented is based on primary source information gathered from multiple sectoral and multi-sector assessments, involving tens of thousands of households and key-informant interviews countrywide.

The HNO has also been shared with the Government of Syria.
