Indonesian Pilgrim Saved after Heart Stopped in Makkah Ajyad Emergency Hospital

A medical team at Ajyad Emergency Hospital, a member of the Makkah Health Cluster, managed to save the life of a 65-year-old pilgrim, Indonesian woman after her heart suddenly stopped.

According to the Makkah Health Cluster, the rapid response team quickly provided the necessary medical procedures to the patient, thus saving her life at the last moment. Then, the patient was admitted to the ICU and was on a ventilator for more medical attention.

Five days later, the patient was removed from the ventilator, and vital signs and consciousness levels returned to normal. She is still receiving the required medical care.

During the past year, Ajyad Emergency Hospital provided medical services to 637 patients admitted to intensive care. With its highly qualified medical staff and human capabilities, the hospital operates at full capacity to provide high-quality medical care to citizens, residents and pilgrims.
