Information Ministry and SANA mourn war correspondent Shahidi Ajeeb

Damascus- Information Ministry and Syrian Arab News Agency(SANA)have mourn the journalist and the war correspondent Shahidi Ajeeb , who passed away on Monday afternoon after a long illness.

The late colleague born in Nahr al-Bared village in Hama, she worked as a war correspondent since the beginning of the terrorist war on Syria, and moved between the fighting fronts in all regions accompanying the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army and documented their victories and sacrifices.

She prepared thousands of articles, news, and videos for SANA, in addition to messages via Radio Damascus.

She was known for her love for her country, her dedication to work , and she continued to work even after her illness, as she resisted the disease with strength and vigor refusing to defeat her.

She continued her creativity despite the pain and difficult treatment sessions as the last article of her for the agency was on the 11 the of this month.

Earlier, in a post on her Facebook page announcing her illness, Ajeeb said that “I mastered patience on the fronts of pain, and I am still sick. I considered it a personal suffering. I did not want to announce it, but the pain journey was long… I do not know whether I will reach the recovery station or not.
