Interior Ministry, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, received here today the Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), Chairman of the Committee of Anti-violence and Addiction (Maan), Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, in the presence of Maan (Together) Programme Director, Ali Ameeni.
The meeting was held following the success of “Maan” in obtaining the ISO 37000:2021 – Governance of Organisations accreditation certificate, which is the first entity in Bahrain to do so.
The Minister congratulated Maan Committee Chairman on achieving this advanced level of excellence in performance and quality, especially with the increase in the number of schools covered by the programme to 196 schools and the number of beneficiary students to more than 136,000, as well as the addition of new curricula on peaceful coexistence, combating extremism, and cybersecurity.
He commended the creative efforts of the Interior Ministry’s affiliates, and praised their distinguished ability to reach leadership and excellence, as well as their optimal investment of modern technologies, wishing everyone success in serving the kingdom.
The Minister of Interior was handed over the accreditation certificate, which is the fourth certificate achieved by the “Maan” Programme in the quality system.
