The Sixth Annual Intersec Saudi Arabia International Exhibition, organized by the General Directorate of Civil Defense and the Higher Commission for Industrial Security, began Tuesday and runs through October 3.
The event, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre, was attended by the acting director-general of Civil Defense, Major General Dr. Hammoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj.
The exhibition aims to highlight the Kingdom’s efforts and investments in the security and safety sectors, showcasing the latest trends and innovative solutions for ensuring information security and information-technology (IT) infrastructure protection, as well as modern technologies for fire detection and suppression.
It provides an opportunity to engage with representatives of relevant entities and service providers to discuss best practices.
The exhibition will cover areas such as commercial and perimeter security, cybersecurity, firefighting and rescue, health and safety, and the use of artificial intellig
ence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) in predictive security solutions for smart cities, aiming to achieve a secure and sustainable future.
Over 300 companies from 32 countries are participating.
