Islamic Affairs Ministry Holds Scientific Course for Imams in Albania


Tirana, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, in collaboration with the Religious Attaché of the Kingdom’s Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, yesterday started the second scientific course for qualifying imams and preachers in Tirana, Albania.

Albania’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Bujar Spahiu attended the first day of the three-day course, along with muftis and leaders of Islamic centers and associations.

Building on a memorandum of understanding signed between the ministry and the Islamic Sheikhdom in Albania, this initiative aims to provide religious knowledge grounded in the Quran and Sunnah, promote the values of moderation within Islam, counter extremism, and foster peaceful coexistence.
