Islamic Financial Services Board Convenes IFSB Summit in Brunei


Jeddah: The Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) organized the 16th IFSB Summit, being held in Brunei, under the theme ‘Islamic Finance and Financial Stability in an Evolving Environment: Navigating Emerging Risks.’

Representatives of Islamic banks, government entities, and international organizations are participating in the summit in Bandar Seri Begawan city, alongside industry experts and key Islamic market players.

The summit, hosted by Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) on May 8-9, is a pivotal event in the area of Islamic finance.

The summit is held once every two years to provide an enriching experience for participants and demonstrate the resilience of Islamic financing in the face of global challenges.
