Islamic Scholars Meet with OIC Ambassadors in Kabul

A delegation of Islamic scholars held a consultative meeting on Thursday with ambassadors and representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Afghanistan.

During the meeting, which was attended by the OIC Special Envoy, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh (Jurisprudence) Complex Dr. Qutb Mustafa Sanu voiced appreciation for the ambassadors for their efforts in strengthening ties, partnerships, and coordination between OIC member states and the ruling authority in Afghanistan.

He also presented a briefing about the purpose of the delegation’s visit to Kabul, reiterating keenness of the OIC and its Secretary General Hissein Taha on empowering Afghani women and girls and ensuring the return to schools and universities.
