WASHINGTON, Mar 19 – U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, will travel to Moscow, on a three-day visit next week, to meet with Russian officials, to discuss the conflict in Syria, the State Department said.

They plan to discuss “the ongoing efforts of the International Syria Support Group, to maintain a cessation of hostilities, provide aid and improve and expand humanitarian access, and facilitate a political transition in Syria, while also combating the so-called Daesh militants,” said the statement.

Kerry is also expected to tackle the conflict in Ukraine and urge the Russians to implement the Minsk agreements, which include adhering to a cease-fire and allowing monitors to gain full access to eastern Ukraine
