Damascus: The organizing committee of the Khan Al-Harir Specialized Textile Exhibition ‘Spring and Summer 2025’ announced that numerous agreements were concluded and a significant number of local marketing and export contracts were signed at the end of the three-day expo, held at the Damascus Fairgrounds.
According to Syrian Arab News Agency, the Head of Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry, Eng. Mohammad Ayman al-Mawlawi, stated to reporters that the exhibition achieved substantial benefits for the exhibitors, as it met their satisfaction along with that of the customers. The event showcased a variety of high-quality clothing and fabrics, along with new models that drew positive responses.
Al-Mawlawi expressed hope that future domestic exhibitions would be held over a larger area with broader participation. Meanwhile, Mohammad Zizan, a member of the Board of Directors of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry and head of the Exhibitions Committee, remarked that the exhibition successfully fulfilled its objective by connecting producing industrialists with visitors, including wholesalers and businessmen from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, and other countries.
Zizan also mentioned that a significant number of contracts were signed for purchasing the displayed products. The expo took place at the Damascus Fairgrounds, organized by the chambers of industry of Aleppo and Damascus and its Countryside, under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy, with the participation of 88 national companies specializing in the textile industry sectors.
