Dammam, King Faisal University inventors won six medals at the International Exhibition of Inventions, which was held in Geneva, Switzerland, from April 17 to 21, 2024, where more than 1,000 inventions from 45 different countries were on display.

The university won one gold, three silver, and two bronze medals.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Najjar and Dr. Hani Abdul Latif were the joint inventors who got the gold medal for a new technology for generating electricity from wastewater.
