King Saud University Holds Regional Trade Policy Course for Middle Eastern Countries

President of King Saud University Abdullah bin Salman Al-Salman inaugurated yesterday the Regional Trade Policy Course (RTPC) for Middle Eastern countries by the General Authority of Foreign Trade in cooperation with King Saud University and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

RTPC will continue until December 5, in the presence of General Authority of Foreign Trade Acting Governor Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Abdul Jabbar.

Al-Salman said that the university works to boost cooperation with WTO to develop international trade, adding that RTPC is an opportunity to advance international trade and benefit from the university

s expertise in this field.

He also said that the university mirrors the Kingdom

s role in international trade and its strategic position in creating more job opportunities, diversifying sources of income, and achieving well-being and prosperity for society, along with a generous support and assistance from the wise government for this sector.

He added that the university strives to instill
the culture of global trade, and develop local and regional competencies by holding courses on global trade in its colleges and specialized centers in cooperation with WTO.
