KSA AMBASSADOR HANDS THREE HIGH-TECH AMBULANCES TO ‘SUBUL AL-SALAM’ ASSOCIATION
Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, on Friday handed over three ambulances equipped with medical equipment to Subul Al Salam Association, as part of “Supporting Services and Ambulance Transport in Syrian Refugee Areas” project in Lebanon, funded and supervised by King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action.
Subul Al Salam will provide ambulance missions in Minieh city and its suburbs.
The ceremony, which took place today at the Saudi Embassy, was attended by MP Othman Alameddine, Director of King Salman Center for Relief Works in Beirut, Fahed Al Qannas, President of Subul Al Salam Association, Sheikh Reslan Mohammad Malas, and a number of association members, paramedics, and media professionals.
Following the handover, Ambassador Bukhari said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, was proving to the International Community, and all Arab countries, its interest in humanitarian activities.
Today, we are providing three very advanced ambulances to ‘Subul Al Salam’ Association in accordance with an agreement concluded through a visit by His Excellency, Minister Abdullah Al-Rabiah, through King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action. Thank God, these agreements have begun to take place on the ground, and many human services are being provided, especially in the field of first aid and transport of the injured in case of necessity, Bukhari explained.
The diplomat said that the provided equipment and specialized vehicles were equipped with modern medical devices for providing first aid to those in need.
Bukhari also thanked ‘Subul Al Salam’ Association for playing this humanitarian role, as well as MP Alam El-Din.
Every day, we make initiatives in the service of humanity, in Lebanon and in brotherly countries, in the Arab and Islamic world, he added.
The diplomat went on to say there were specialized programs through food parcels, in addition to medical programs and educational programs for those in need, especially among Syrian refugees in Lebanon, not to mention our brothers in Palestinian camps, where there are programs that provide medical and health support for students.
